Robinsons Handyman was first established as a company in July 1994 and began operating with the opening of its first branchRobinsons Handyman Home Improvement Center-in Robinsons Galleria. Handyman introduced to the public the convenience of hardware shopping malls-a concept that is now known more popularly as DIY (Do-It-Yourself) . In 2002, Handyman became a member of the Do It Best Corp. -the 3rd biggest DIY cooperative in the U. S. This paved the way for the Handyman Do It Best Home Center concept, and later on in 2004, the Handyman Do It Center contractors' destination. Handyman is a member of the Robinsons Retail Group.
